In 2019, Crystal’s health took a turn for the worst when she was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical dysplasia. Desperate for answers, she was willing to do anything she was told to do by her doctor at the time, and unfortunately, that meant undergoing surgery in which they cauterized the abnormal cells. This procedure led to a series of complications for her, such as nerve damage, constant pelvic pain, numbness in her legs, and heavy bleeding. Shortly after the surgery, Crystal started on hormonal birth control per her doctor’s recommendation, and this led to Crystal having debilitating headaches and erratic mood swings. After seeking holistic care, it was clear to Crystal that if you give the body what it needs, it promotes healing and gives the body the energy needed to diminish such ailments. In 2020, Crystal started a holistic health journey using whole food supplements, diet changes, and alternative therapies, and within 3 months, she was free of any signs of cell abnormalities, her nerve damage completely healed, she had no more headaches, and her cycles and mood returned to normal.
In 2022, Crystal began working at the Nutritional Healing Center of Ann Arbor as a front desk associate. After witnessing firsthand the power of holistic nutrition with clients and in her personal journey, she knew this was something she had to learn so she could help others find the missing piece of their health puzzle. Facing years of anxiety and depression after losing her little brother and father to medical neglect and combating health challenges of her own, she knew she wanted to take the next step—to make the change in the world that she wanted to see—and learn the necessary tools and skills needed to help people avoid the same loss and pain that she had endured. In 2024, Crystal graduated from Trinity School of Natural Health as a Certified Natural Health Practitioner and is currently furthering her knowledge by completing the board exam with the American Natural Wellness Practitioners Board (ANWPB) to become a Board-Certified Doctor of Functional Health. Recently, Crystal was presented with an opportunity to combine her passion for natural health with her love for animals. In January 2025, she attended the Quantum Academy in Orlando, Florida, where she trained under Dr. Lisa Palmer, DC, and Dr. Barbara Fox, Holistic Veterinarian. Upon successful completion of her QNT Pets Level 1 course, Crystal gained the additional title of Certified Holistic Pet Coach. Now, being able to help not only humans but animals as well, she is committed and determined to fulfill her mission to make the world a healthier place. In her spare time, Crystal volunteers at Foxes Journey Sanctuary in Howell, Michigan, where she helps raise awareness and care for foxes saved from fur farms and neglectful owners. She also enjoys spending time with her 3 fur babies, volunteering at the Humane Society, cooking and creating healthy recipes, and playing video games.

Sydney is an 8 year old Australian Labradoodle that has suffered from “allergies” since around the age of 1. She has had every treatment available from both holistic and western medicine with no success. Crystal found multiple findings that have not been discovered before and after one visit, we have noticed less scratching and biting at her skin and new hair growth. We are so excited to get our sweet dog the help she deserves with Crystal!
